With the new year in full swing, maybe you've resolved to enjoy something new, sleek and distinctive in 2025? While a luxury car might not be in the budget, there's plenty to discover in our latest Tasting Highlights lineup of Sauvignon Blancs with an average price of $33. With these wines, you'll be sipping in style, as each scored 90 points or more on our 100-point scale.
The top scorer comes from Quivira Vineyards in Sonoma's Dry Creek Valley. Proprietors Pete and Terri Kight purchased Quivira in 2006 from founders Henry and Holly Wendt; they brought on winemaker Hugh Chappelle (formerly of Flowers and Lynmar), owing to his extensive experience with Sonoma terroirs. Quivira's Dry Creek Valley Sauvignon Blanc, below, is distinctive with Meyer lemon, yuzu and apple flavors.
This lineup also features Clif Family's Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2023, which features sweetgrass and peach notes. Read on to get our score and full tasting note for this fantastic California Sauvignon Blanc and nine others.
